The latest patch for Cry out of Duty: Warzone takes take at the cargo trucks meta that has dominated its unaccompanied mode for months. Au fond cargo trucks are... well, they're trucks. They can draw tonnes of fire, there are loads of them about, and thusly players have unsurprisingly opted to try and run over their opponents rather than fighting them: ensuant in the death of matches turning into some sort of death derby between multiple trucks kinda than a shootout.

The patch notes say that the cargo truck spawn rates in Verdansk, in the solo BR mode, has been reduced from a range of 16-20 to a flat five per match. "In Solos, players are non keen to unload a considerable number of their resources into the removal of Cargo Trucks, which would often result in a significant number of them in final circles," writes developer Raven Software.

"The ensuing gameplay allowed players to skirt traditional engagements and created a crutch that put less of an emphasis on end game orientating and gunplay. A substantial decrease in the figure of Loading Trucks in Solos testament induce whittling them down finished the course of the game a practicable and attractive pick given their considerably reduced map out presence."

Raven had previously teased the change.

The Warzone consultation, known for its calm and composed approach towards the gritty's problems, has been going crackers nearly cargo trucks for more months now: not least because, to boot to their affect on the alone game, thither were also various bugs that resulted in inactive vehicles Downing and/or killing players. This has also been self-addressed: "Unmoving a bug where vehicles could down or kill squad match."

Warzone's all but famous player, Dr Disesteem, has been moaning about them for ages, then at least he'll be laughing.

Other elements of the while include a peanut nerf to the CR-56 AMAX, one of the assault rifles that tends to dominate. It's had a slight reduction in headshot damage over range, though the interesting nugget of information Here is Pig's ambition to do guns in general slenderly less deadly: "As we cover our efforts to slowly raise the Time to Kill, we feel the best course here is to reduce the power steady of outliers instead than increase others to meet it."

Divertingly enough, it was only a few weeks past that the AMAX was nerfed aside unmatched whole terms place. Guess information technology wasn't enough!

It's interesting times for Warzone, not least because Activision has been getting serious about wielding the banhammer against the nastier elements of its massive audience. The inundated patch notes are Here.
